L’Etoile du Nord Vineyard
This 10-acre winery is located on Lake Irene and what started out as 500 grape plants grew to 3,000. Owners Polly and David began to craft those grapes into wines that spoke of their land and their seasons. Local wine, like any other local food, is a true expression of place. The estate wines at L’Etoile du Nord Vineyard are handcrafted in small batches from grapes they’ve grown in their vineyard as a true expression of their land. Their Mead is made from local honey; even some of the wildflowers growing at the edge of their vineyard supplied the nectar. Their ciders are made from local fruits and apples blended to delight.
